2019 Grand Barbecue – Thanks

As in previous years, Envoi du Net recently held its annual Grand Barbecue, but this time at Bay Star Beach & Lounge. For this 2019 edition, we chose an idyllic seaside setting to host our customers and partners. You helped to make this informal and relaxed event a great success.

A wonderful setting and atmosphere but, most importantly, excellent and first-rate guests

We were more than happy to host you at our 2019 Grand Barbecue. Held on Make Music Day at Bay Star Beach & Lounge, it promised to offer a perfect experience. But this event would never have been such a success if you hadn’t been there to share it with us.

A big barbecue, good simple food, drinks, games and a relaxed atmosphere were all the ingredients for an enjoyable time to share with our guests. Once again, you were there to experience this relaxed event with us.

Thank you so much for coming; in all honesty, we’re already looking forward to next year!

And, as you have probably noticed, there was not just a welcome speech but a surprise guest who stole the show this year…

A surprise guest is often expected at this type of event. Not wanting to break with tradition, we decided to invite a special guest of our own. This is how you got the chance to meet Alfred3000.

Alfred 3000 is a robot who played the role of your bartender. He performed his role expertly before your sometimes curious and astounded eyes. Some of you were expecting a disaster, but everything went smoothly; yes, a robot can serve your favourite cocktail without any mix-ups and without spilling a drop!

And if we “invited” Alfred3000 to our annual Grand Barbecue, it was above all to show you that robotisation (automation) has become extremely efficient, and even essential. This ongoing research in innovation allows us to take a forward-looking approach to developing tomorrow’s shipping solutions. It will be more than useful in automating repetitive tasks and optimising the processing of your shipments while saving time.
